Julia Roberts certainly had a sunny disposition as she started work on her latest project.

The 54-year-old actress had a huge smile on her face as she was seen for the first time on the Smithtown, New York set of  Leave The World Behind on Tuesday morning.

She was not alone for the day of filming as she was joined by co-star Ethan Hawke on the set of the drama.

Julia put on a leggy display as she sported a pair of Daisy Dukes along with a navy colored blouse and sandals.

She made sure to wear protection from the sun as she sported a large sun hat and gold-rimmed aviator shades.

Her brunette tresses were worn down as she showcased her evergreen looks by wearing minimal make-up.

Ethan, 51, donned a patterned short sleeved top with tiny navy shorts, sandals, and sunglasses. 

The Sam Esmail, 44, directed flick will feature an all-star cast including  Oscar-winning actor Mahershala Ali, 47.

It was also reported in January that  Myha'la Herrold, 25, will also have a feature role as she has starred in HBO series Industry since 2020.

Ryan Kiera Armstrong, 11, and English actor Charlie Evans, 26, also have been cast in the thriller.

The film is being produced by Julia through her Red Om Films production company along with Mr. Robot creator Sam and Chad Hamilton through Esmail Corp.

Leave The World Behind is based on Rumaan Alam's 2020 novel of the same name and Rumaan, 44, also will serve as an executive producer.

The film follows a New York City family who rent a luxurious home outside the city and are forced to live with another family under strange circumstances.

Their stay gets interrupted when an older Black couple who own the home show up after a blackout has hit the city.

Ethan will portray Julia's husband and Myha'la will play Mahershala's daughter.

Ryan and Charlie will play the children of Julia and Ethan, according to Deadline.
